On the 6^th of April was held the first edition of the Painting Cars Skills; a contest for bodywork students in Catalonia organized by the Salesians School of San Vicenç dels Horts (Barcelona) and sponsored by Sagola.

The rest of the students have the chance to participate in an aerography workshop with the artists of MaM Paint Moto.

After several hours of nerves on edge, the expected delivery of prizes arrived with a first place for Gali Hasan of Salesianos Sant Vicenç dels Horts, followed by Óscar Salido of the Center Tècnic del Vallès and Tania Doménech of the IES Pere Martell of Tarragona.

Congratulations to the winners and to the organizers and participants for the illusion and delivery in this first edition that will surely be the beginning of many more.

Last March Sagola held a training course in Fondomovil, a paint and car accessories distributor located in Arganda del Rey (Madrid)

The commercial and technical staff of Fondomovil took part in this training course held on March 16 at the paint distributor facilities where the new Sagola products were shown.

We would like to thank to Fondomovil team for its warm welcome and the interest shown in these training actions.

Cornwell is a family owned company, that started manufacturing tools in the early 1900s.

Today it has more than 650 franchisees or independent tool dealers around the US market, supplying not only these mentioned tools, but also Sagola spraying guns.

Cornwell organize every year the Tool Rally and Sagola was present at this year event in Las Vegas during 5 and 6 of April and Sagola products were displayed through local distributor Roberlo USA.The show was vastly visited by more than 400-500 franchisees around the nation.

As part of the experience, the visitors had the chance not only to see the already well-known top of the line spraying gun by Sagola, the 4600 Xtreme, but also the newly launched 3300GTO and Classic Pro XD.The feedback was excellent and we look forward to working on a closer collaboration with Cornwell.

Autotechnica is the biggest Benelux trade fair for automotive professionals; it is a biennial event organized in Brussels (Belgium).

2018 Autotechnica was held in Brussels Exhibition Centre from 25 to 28 of March.

It was for the first time to see Sagola at this show through its local distributor, Imbema Rhiwa NV.

The visitors had the chance to see in-situ part of its widely known product line. The 4600 Xtreme, which is the most incredible piece of machinery ever produced to spraying paint, to the next in line, 3300GTO and Mini Xtreme.

Last 15 and 16 of March we have received in Sagola the visit of body repair shop professionals from the communities of Navarra and La Rioja.

The visit was one of the activities carried out by these professionals within the Technical Workshops for Bodyshops organized by AD Regenauto in Pamplona. The groups came from Refena (Pamplona) to our facilities to know more about the manufacturing process of our painting equipment.

They visited the areas of manufacturing, quality and warehouse, where they listened to explanations from department heads, and finally, in the training center, they had the opportunity to talk about some of the Sagola products they often use and to learn about new ones.

Sagola has taken part one more year in the International Hardware Exhibition held in Cologne (Germany) from the 4 to the 7 of March; an excellent opportunity to show the latest novelties in the hardware and industrial supply catalogue.

Sagola makes a very positive balance of its presence thanks to the high number of meetings with consolidated customers and new contacts and due to the interest shown towards the novelties displayed.

In addition to a notable increase in visitors compared to the 2016 edition, the number of countries from which they came has also increased, reaching 45 different countries this year, thus reinforcing their commitment to growth in the international market.

Sagola has visited in March the Centre Tècnic Vallès de les Franqueses del Vallés (Barcelona) for a training day for the students of a bodyshop course, where our technicians talked about products and applications for the refinish sector. They had the chance to deeply know the most important product of Sagola Refinish catalogue such as 4600 Xtreme, Mini Xtreme, 3300 GTO and air filtration systems.

This activity was held by the school among other activities related to vocational guidance. Sagola believes that the collaboration between industry and academic world is very important for the business evolution and that is why we often held training courses in schools and universities all over the world. 

Sagola has taken part once more in the Automotive Repair and Maintenance Exhibition, Expo Cesvi 2018 held from 8 to 10 March at the World Trade Center in Mexico City.

The event was very successful for Sagola; a great number of visitors were welcomed at the booth where the most important novelties for automotive were displayed; spray gun for finishes, primers or spot repair together with air filtration systems and other accessories for bodyshops.  One of the products that caused a huge interest during these days was the new limited edition 4600 Scrambler, quality and technology of 4600 Xtreme under vintage image inspired by the legendary Scrambler. We want to thank all visitors for their interest in Sagola and hope that this event will be a starting point for future collaborations.

We also want to thank the excellent team in Sagola Mexico for its commitment not only in this event but also for their commercial and technical support along the year to distributors and customers.

Sagola reinforces its presence in the Asian market by closing a distribution agreement with Axalta Korea. As a result of this agreement, from February 20 to 23 the Sagola Technical Product Manger visited them to provide a training seminar.

The training was held in the city of Icheon with a selection of Axalta distributors from the South Korean market. It has been organized in two parts; one of them more theoretical for a better knowledge of the products of the Sagola Refinish Catalogue and another part, a practical training in which Sagola range of spray guns for bodyshop were tested with different Axalta products, particularly the new "Cromax Ez" basecoat that obtained more than satisfactory results with the 4600 Xtreme Aqua.
